Max Buirski
Chairman


Max is the Co-Founder and Chairman of Asian Sky Group. He has over two decades of experience in a variety of areas including business and general aviation, offshore oil and gas, logistics, international shipping and corporate finance. Max has been involved in the Asia-Pacific aviation sector since 2005.

He previously oversaw helicopter marketing, leasing and joint venture activity in the Asia Pacific region for helicopter operator, Era Helicopters until 2013. He is currently a Board Member of Avion Pacific, a Shenzhen based mainland Chinese general aviation sales and support business. In addition, he is the Managing Director of SEACOR Capital (Asia), an investment subsidiary of SEACOR Holdings Inc. (NYSE: “CKH”), and from 2009 to 2013 worked closely with Era Helicopters (NYSE: ERA) overseeing its expansion in Greater China and the Asia-Pacific.

Jeffrey Lowe
Managing Director


With over 35 years of experience in commercial and business aviation, Jeffrey Lowe has focused his career on engineering, marketing and sales. Residing in Hong Kong since 1997, Jeffrey specializes in the Greater China business aviation market. He first came to Hong Kong as a Director of Sales, Asia-Pacific for the Bombardier Aerospace Business Aircraft division. He was then appointed Regional Vice President of Sales for Asia by Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in May 2000. In 2007, Lowe joined the recently-formed BAA Jet Management Limited and was responsible for establishing and expanding its managed aircraft business, as well as aircraft sales, marketing and project development.

Prior to moving to Hong Kong, Jeffrey worked in commercial aviation for the de Havilland Aircraft Company of Canada, Boeing Canada, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, the Canadair Regional Jet Division and Bombardier’s Regional Aircraft Division. He began his career as a Ground Test Engineer and then moved into marketing and sales internationally in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. He is now Managing Director for Asian Sky Group and Asian Sky Media.

JAY SHAW

Jay Shaw is the Co-Founder and Head of Advisory for Asian Sky Group. He is an early pioneer in developing Asia’s business aviation industry, working for several notable companies throughout his career.

Starting out as Sales Director for management company Metrojet, Jay led the company to establish a sales and charter market in Greater China, where he helped to introduce Gulfstream. He also worked as Director of Sales and Marketing at Bombardier Flextjet Asia-Pacific, where he established the first-ever regional charter network. In 2011, Jay worked as Managing Director of US-listed SEACOR Holdings’ Asian subsidiary, where he helped diversity the company’s aviation portfolio. In addition to co-founding Asian Sky Group, he also co-founded management company Business Aviation Asia (BAA), growing it into the largest operator of privately-owned business jets in Greater China.

NADAV KESSLER
SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR


Nadav has over seven years of experience in business and general aviation for both rotary and fixed-wing operations throughout the Asia Pacific region. He is an Industrial Engineering & Business Management graduate and has lived in Asia since 2010. Nadav previously spent almost a decade in the military, with extensive experience in rotary operations. He has been with Asian Sky Group since its foundation and now leads the company’s helicopter sales and rotary operations consultancy division.

ALAN HUNG
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR


Alan has over a decade of experience in the aviation industry, which began in 2001 while studying Aviation Management at the University of New South Wales. His career started upon providing dispatch and flight support for commercial airlines. He then moved into the private aviation sector in 2011, working for Hong Kong-based operator Metrojet. Over the nine years working with the business jet operator, he helped grow the number of managed fleet from 10 to 50 aircraft. Alan then moved on to work with business jet maintenance provider, Jet Support Services Inc. (JSSI). As Director of Business Development, APAC, he expanded the company’s regional business, while providing maintenance support to governments, commercial airliners, and helicopter operators. Alan is now responsible for aircraft sales in Greater China and APAC.

VIVI LIU
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR


With 10 years of experience in business aviation, Vivi began her journey with ground handling provider Beijing Business Aviation Center. As her entry point into the industry, Vivi started out as Customer Service Manager where she ensured clients were satisfied upon arrival into the Beijing Capital Airport and flights were completed without issue. Vivi then transitioned into a Project Manager role with shareholder company Deer Jet. She worked in the Aircraft Management Department, where she was eventually promoted to Sales Center Manager, handling current clients and seeking out new clients. Vivi’s most recent role was with Hongkong Jet as Business Development Manager, where she worked for five years helping to develop the company’s aircraft management portfolio from five aircraft at her start to over 30 by 2017. Vivi is now working to expand Asian Sky Group’s sales presence in Greater China.

CARRIE YU
SALES DIRECTOR


Carrie has over seven years of experience in business and general aviation. Carrie began her career in business aviation as a Sales Manager with Hawker Pacific, based in Shanghai. During her time with the company, she quickly learned the ins and outs of aircraft sales. In 2015, Carrie started with a China-based general aviation company. Within her first six months, she successfully completed her first aircraft transaction; an Embraer Legacy 600. Shortly thereafter, Carrie completed the sale of a Dassault Falcon 7X. She went on to complete three additional aircraft transactions. Carrie holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce and previously worked for HSBC, before pursuing business aviation in Shanghai. With Asian Sky Group, she will be covering developing new business opportunities and supporting existing clients throughout Shanghai and Taiwan.

MICHAEL HUI
CONSULTING MANAGER


Michael’s consulting background began in 2012, where he most recently held positions at Flight Ascend Consultancy and Ailevon Pacific Aviation Consulting. He now specializes in advisory projects for aviation business development. Prior to his consultancy work, Michael worked with an Australia-based airline and a Hong Kong-based MRO provider. Throughout his consulting career, he has provided advisory on commercial business developments, network and fleet planning, aircraft appraisals, M&A due diligence, operation optimizations, and aviation policy assessments. He has an Aviation Management degree from the University of New South Wales and a Master’s Degree in Marketing. He is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Michael supports Asian Sky Group in its consulting services.

NICOLE WANG
SALES MANAGER, BEIJING


Nicole joined ASG after four and a half years working with French aircraft manufacturer Dassault Falcon, where she started out as an assistant intern to the Senior Vice President. She moved her way up the ranks, providing considerable sales support to Falcon’s team of sales personnel based in Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong. Her support consisted of in-depth aircraft comparisons, market research and analysis, and aircraft marketing. Nicole now works out of Beijing, supporting Asian Sky Group’s growing business aviation market in Mainland China.

SERENA LUI
CHARTER SERVICES MANAGER


Upon completion of an Aviation Management Degree at Coventry University in the UK, Serena joined Hong Kong-based ground handling provider Jardine Aviation Services. During her time with the company, she worked in the Aircraft Dispatch and Station Control division where she worked closely with over 20 international airlines and coordinated with regional offices to resolve operational issues. After four years with Jardine Aviation Services, Serena moved to Hong Kong-based charter services provider L’VOYAGE, where she was Aircraft Charter Operations Officer and was later promoted to Account Manager. Serena now handles Asian Sky Group’s Charter Services Department where she supports charter brokerage, marketing, aircraft representation and supplemental lifts.

MATTHIEU GUISOLPHE
ROTARY PROGRAMME SALES MANAGER


Matthieu’s aviation career began in 2014, working for Airbus Helicopters. During this time, Matthieu was involved in multiple aspects of Airbus Helicopters’ product line and provided training to the sales team on various fields ranging from product description to maintenance and compliance. Over the past three years, based out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Matthieu has been supporting helicopter operators in South East Asia on matters related to maintenance, repair and retrofit and ensuring clients have all necessary tools and know-how for their operations. Matthieu is fluent in French, English and Spanish and holds a Master’s Degree in Management. He will continue to support the South East Asia rotary market for Asian Sky Group, while based out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

JESSIE RAN
COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS DIRECTOR


Jessie Ran has over nine years’ experience in business and general aviation, with three years’ experience in aviation investments and six years’ experience in business operations management. She specialized in finance, investment analysis, market research and business development. Graduated from London Cass Business School in the UK, she holds a Master’s degree in Investment Management.

Jessie started her career as an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers and joined SEACOR Holding’s Asian subsidiary in 2009 as an associate to assist in their aviation investments and activities in the Asia-pacific region. Jessie has been with Asian Sky Group since its foundation and now oversees company’s commercial operations, including commercial strategies, company products and delivery, commercial support and market research, and development of company reports. Jessie is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin .
